We won’t risk not knowing… many doctors use the “guess-work technique” and may not properly adjust your spine. Often this can cause your situation to worsen. DO I NEED AN ATTORNEY?
You do not have to hire an attorney to get chiropractic care after an auto accident. Often attorneys are chosen once the doctor has established a case for personal injury. In the Statute of Limitations, GA law requires that any lawsuit must be filed within 2 years of the accident date… so there’s no rush!
WHO IS FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE?
Most auto accident cases are covered 100% by the liable insurance company. Having adequate Med pay coverage on your own auto insurance policy (regardless of who is at fault) will, no doubt, help cover your medical bills until the case has been settled. Insurance companies want you to settle your case as soon as possible while your medical bills are low or non-existence. Let’s be realistic, insurance companies are like any other business; the less they spend... the more money they make their shareholders. Also, it is very important to get care immediately following an accident as insurance companies are more willing to pay if the victim seeks help as soon as possible – rather than waiting weeks or months later.
What SHOULD I EXPECT? Your first visit will take 1 hour, however each visit thereafter should be roughly 20-30 minutes. Please show up to your first appointment 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and be sure to bring with you...

After a consultation and exam, x-rays will be taken and read by the doctor. Then physiotherapy, ultrasound, hot/cold packs, traction, and/or deep tissue massage often accompany an adjustment. Depending on the severity of your injuries, your care plan may last 4-6 weeks. Remember, ignoring your body's signals of pain will only complicate your health, so take an active role in your recovery to a healthy life.
